Iconic and unmistakable, this scent is dedicated to the City of Genoa, and was created in occasion of the event “Scent of Genoa, World’s First Scented City”. A unique initiative, a first time worldwide, during which a two-kilometer olfactory path, made of more than 500 liters of Genova fragrance, was created along Genova Old Town‘s alleys, by placing more than 200 magnum size 2.5 liters home diffusers. The fragrance has been taken as official olfactory logo by the City of Genoa, world’s first and only city to have an olfactory logo.
Genova, the inimitable olfactory logo of the Superb, the fragrance that captures the essence of a city suspended between land sea, its rich history and vibrant culture, and the inebriating scents of the Ligurian Riviera. The fragrance, with basil as its main note, pays homage to Genoa’s maritime legacy and its role as the Queen of the Seas.
TOP NOTES
Basil I Mint I Eucalyptus I Orange I Bergamot
The fragrance opens with a burst of freshness and Mediterranean vitality, reflecting the coastal influences of the Ligurian Riviera. Basil, the symbol of Genova, takes center stage, accompanied by invigorating notes of mint, eucalyptus, orange, and bergamot. These heady top notes create an immediate sense of vibrancy, reminiscent of the aromatic herbs that paint the landscape of the region.
HEART NOTES
Rosemary I Lavender I Coriander I Pine I Clove
As the fragrance unfolds, it ventures into the heart notes that represent the historical richness of Genoa, The Superb. Reed diffuser available in six different sizes: 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml and 1000 ml, 2500 ml and 5000 ml sizes.
CONSIGLI UTILI
Capovolgere i midollini con frequenza (1-2 volte al giorno) per garantire una maggiore intensità della fragranza. Per moderare l'intensità capovolgere solo una parte dei midollini.
Fattori quali la dimensione e l'aerazione dell'ambiente, l'esposizione alla luce diretta del sole e l'alta temperatura possono accelerare l'evaporazione e ridurre la durata della fragranza.
Posizionare il diffusore al riparo dalla luce e da fonti di calore. Considerare la superficie dell'ambiente e abbinarlo al formato più appropriato.
Acquistando una ricarica della stessa fragranza, sarà possibile riempire gradualmente il diffusore in modo da ridurre la superficie di evaporazione, mantenendo alto il livello del liquido nella bottiglia per garantire una maggiore intensità e durata della fragranza.

Devo dire che sono un po’ difficile in fatto di profumi ma quando ho sentito questo di Genova ho subito desiderato averlo a casa, si sente prima di tutto il basilico e poi altri tipici aromi di erbe liguri con un risultato armonioso e piacevole, impossibile non pensare a Genova. Grazie per averci pensato!

Premetto che non ho mai sopportato i profumatori d’ambiente… Ma da quando l’anno scorso, in occasione del Salone Nautico, il centro di Genova è stato invaso di questo profumo, non ne posso più fare a meno.

Passando dal lungomare di Pegli ho sentito questo profumo irresistibile e sono corsa a comprare la confezione più grande disponibile (500) e anche lo spray (soprattutto per la macchina). Questo profumo era nella mia mente da sempre, ma nemmeno le profumerie di nicchia sapevano cosa farmi sentire, quando chiedevo un profumo al basilico, ora finalmente ho trovato il “mio” profumo
